Have you ever wondered... "What's it all about?" Many do...
...and the Alpha Course is a fantastic opportunity to explore the meaning and purpose of life in a relaxed, informal and friendly setting.
At Alpha everyone is welcome. The 10 week course begins each week with a meal served at 6:30pm (suggested cost $5.00), followed by a series of intriguing and thought provoking talks (often DVD) looking at topics such as:
- Who is Jesus?
- Why did He die?
- Why and how should I pray?
- Does God Heal today?
- and many others
Each talk is followed by a discussion time in small groups where no question about God and life is out of bounds. Questions such as...
Does God exist?
Why am I here? Does life have an ultimate meaning and purpose?
Where am I going?
What came first, the chicken or the egg?
You are free to discuss as much or as little as you wish. We don't assume any background knowledge of, or belief in Christianity. You don't have to come for the whole course - just drop in the first night and see what you think. No pressure.
Alpha has become a worldwide phenomenon, now in 169 countries. Over 16 million people have been on an Alpha Course and had an opportunity to explore the meaning of life.
